Position: Senior Planner – Bedford to Cambridge team, based in St Neots. Remote working available with minimum office presence per week.
Location: St Neots, PE19 6WL (remote available)
Employment: Permanent, full-time. 42 hours per week, with some flexibility.
Compensation: £70,000 – £80,000 per year, private healthcare, £6.7k annual car allowance, and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed programmes using P6, including progress updates and resource management.
- Run planning meetings with delivery teams to capture progress and identify potential delays.
- Create clear reports and visual presentations for senior leadership and clients.
- Support commercial teams with contract management and change implications.
- Establish monitoring techniques to demonstrate team performance through dashboards and trackers.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering in roads, structures, and earthworks; design survey works desirable (ground investigation, archaeology trenching, building/structural surveys).
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 for resource management, float path analysis, and S-curve creation.
- Ability to interpret baseline data and provide actionable insights.
- Valid CSCS card and working towards or holding a professional qualification.
- Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with diverse teams.
