Job Summary: We’re looking for an MEP Planner to join our Mechanical and Electrical team based in the Midlands. This role supports the delivery of mechanical and electrical projects across the Northern and Scotland region. It offers a full-time position with some flexibility on hours.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project programmes using Elecosoft PowerProject and/or Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with Kier's planning standards and contract requirements.
- Monitor progress through site visits and maintain accurate records using Bluebeam and Elecosoft Site Progress apps.
- Identify potential risks and delays, and work collaboratively with project teams to develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare clear and concise progress reports and updates for stakeholders, keeping everyone informed of project status.
- Review supply chain programmes and facilitate coordination meetings to ensure seamless project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Elecosoft PowerProject, capable of creating fully logic‑linked programmes and accurate take‑offs.
- 4‑6 years of hands‑on experience as an MEP planner, ideally on office, custodial, or pharmaceutical laboratory projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience in Bluebeam Revu.
- 3‑5 years of experience in tender and pre‑construction planning.
- Positive, open‑minded team player with the ability to work independently and enthusiasm for learning and development.
