Kier is looking for a Sub Agent to join the United Utilities Framework based across the North West of England, with locations in Blackburn and Manchester. The role is full‑time, 45 hours per week, with some flexibility.
Candidates will coordinate site activities and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work meets project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, forepersons, and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow.
- Monitor progress against schedules and implement solutions to address any delays.
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and risk assessments to ensure compliance.
- Support resource management, including labour, materials and equipment, to maximise efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in site management, civil engineering, or construction supervision.
- Strong organisational skills to coordinate teams and resources effectively.
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies and health & safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel between project sites.
- Transferable skills are welcome; not every box needs to be ticked.
