We are looking for an MEP Planner to join our Mechanical & Electrical team based in the London region.
About the role
Location: London and Thames Valley
Hours: 42.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed MEP programmes using Asta PowerProject, aligned with construction master programmes.
- Monitor progress through regular site reviews, working with site teams and subcontractors to validate sequences and identify issues.
- Present programme updates and planning insights to project managers, construction leads, and senior leadership.
- Coordinate with design managers, commercial teams, and construction planners to proactively resolve sequencing and logistics challenges.
- Support risk identification and mitigation through programme analysis and scenario planning.
Key qualifications
- Intermediate or advanced user of Elecosoft Asta PowerProject, able to create fully logic‑linked MEP programmes.
- 4–6 years of on‑site experience as an MEP planner, preferably in commercial, custodial, and pharmaceutical laboratory projects.
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems in a construction environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities with attention to detail.
- Proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills who enjoys working collaboratively across teams.
- Transferrable skills are welcome; you do not need to tick every box to apply.
