Location and hours: South Coast – hybrid working available, with occasional travel to the office required. 37.5 hours per week, some flexibility on hours available if desired.

Overview: This role offers an exciting opportunity to partner with our Kier Natural Resources management team, providing an innovative and customer-focused HR service. You will play a key role in driving our people plan to support business strategy, while embedding our wider people initiatives across the organisation. This position offers the chance to make a real impact, working collaboratively with passionate colleagues who value your expertise and insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with operational leaders to deliver the people plan and embed our people strategy.
  • Manage people matters related to contract mobilisation and demobilisation activities.
  • Coordinate employee relations activities and provide expert guidance on employment legislation.
  • Use data and metrics to drive decision-making and identify solutions to complex people challenges.
  • Champion equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout the business.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified (or qualified by experience) with business partnering experience in medium to large organisations.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of employment legislation.
  • Commercially aware with a pragmatic, delivery‑focused approach.
  • Diligent desire to drive positive change and support people development.
