Position: Assistant Design Manager – Kier Places team.

Location: London/South.

Hours: 40 hours per week.

No support for certificates of sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing design information and contractor’s designed portion packages at all RIBA stages.
  • Supporting the establishment of the design team and aligning scope and accountabilities.
  • Identifying, recording and mitigating design and project risks and opportunities.
  • Supporting pricing assumptions to align with design development.
  • Providing information and monitoring activity to ensure construction aligns with approved design.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of HND/HNC/T Level or equivalent (desirable).
  • Good understanding of technical aspects of construction, including the RIBA plan of work and Building Regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full driving licence (does not need to be UK‑specific).
