Location & Hours: Multiple locations (Oxfordshire, Swindon, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire). Remote working available with occasional travel to the office. Working hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility is available.
Role Overview: Senior Quantity Surveyor – Thames Water Framework team. You will support the commercial management of the Water Framework project during the construction phase.
Responsibilities:
- Manage valuations, project cashflows, and produce comprehensive monthly cost reports.
- Ensure compliance with procurement strategies and review subcontract tenders.
- Provide expert contractual advice and handle documentation.
- Drive commercial initiatives and develop margin improvement plans.
- Mentor and support junior team members to meet targets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Hold a construction-related degree qualification.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Commercial experience working for a contractor, ideally with MEP exposure.
- Familiarity with various contract forms.
- Strong collaboration and relationship‑building skills.
