Responsibilities
- Water and feed all border plants, tubs and shrubs on a regular basis to ensure healthy and vigorous plants.
- Cut lawns and bed edges at least every 8 days during March to November, and at least four times during the winter months.
- Keep all ponds, water features, paths, patios, drives, forecourts and roads weed‑free and clean.
- Sweep and tidy all areas regularly.
- Trim hedges and shrubs as required.
- Rake up leaves in the winter period.
- Prune and thin roses, shrubs and small trees mainly in the winter period.
- Maintain a garden log book.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation.
- Report any faulty or damaged equipment or machinery to the person in charge.
- Participate in theme events or open days for owners.
- Participate in stock taking as required.
- Use the correct equipment, appliances and tools as instructed by the manufacturers.
- Maintain a professional relationship with owners and their next of kin or representative within professional boundaries.
