Kier is seeking an Electrical Package Engineer to join the Hogsmill Surrey team.
Location: Hogsmill Surrey — some remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 45 hours per week — some flexibility on hours is available.
The Electrical Package Engineer will provide electrical engineering expertise for industrial projects, with a focus on water recycling facilities.
Responsibilities
- Establishing client requirements and delivering effective electrical engineering solutions
- Engaging with suppliers and supporting the contractor delivery and commissioning process
- Providing expertise for electrical distribution systems, motor control centres, and hazardous area designs
- Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are successfully achieved
- Applying technical judgment during construction phases while ensuring health & safety standards
Qualifications
- You hold at least an HND qualification in electrical engineering
- You have experience in electrical design on capital projects
- You possess knowledge of motor control centres and electrical distribution systems
- You can work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- You have strong interpersonal skills with a focus on quality and problem-solving
