We're looking for a Clerk of Works to join our HMP Glasgow team based in Royston, Glasgow. Site based hours: 42.5 hours per week with some flexibility. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role. Join us on one of Scotland's most ambitious construction projects. HMP Glasgow will provide a modern, energy-efficient facility for 2,000 inmates and staff, replacing Barlinnie prison with a rehabilitation-focused environment. This flagship project uses cutting‑edge Modern Methods of Construction.
Responsibilities
- Monitor construction activities to ensure full compliance with drawings, specifications, and Scottish Building Regulations.
- Inspect workmanship across all disciplines, identify defects or non‑compliance using digital quality tools.
- Verify materials and support management of Inspection.
