The Role
Working alongside experienced commercial professionals, you will be involved in the financial management of drylining and interior fit-out packages on high-profile commercial projects throughout London. Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the commercial management of multiple projects.
- Preparing subcontractor enquiries and analysing quotations.
- Procurement and management of subcontract packages.
- Producing valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Monitoring project costs and reporting financial performance.
- Managing subcontractor accounts and payment applications.
- Identifying cost-saving and value engineering opportunities.
- Supporting senior commercial staff with project delivery.
- Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and supply chain partners.
Requirements
- Experience working within the construction industry in a Quantity Surveying role.
- Previous experience with drylining, interiors, fit-out, or specialist subcontracting projects would be advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness and numerical skills.
- Good understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
