The London division is experiencing sustained growth, delivering high-end commercial and hospitality fit-out projects ranging in value from £500,000 to £10 million.

Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Design Manager to support the delivery of design on prestigious fit-out projects across London. Based from the company’s Farringdon HQ, you will work closely with Senior Design Managers, project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to coordinate and manage the design process from pre-construction through to completion.
This role would suit someone from an architectural, interior design, or structural engineering background who is looking to transition into design management within a main contractor environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the design process across multiple projects, ensuring coordination between consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Support the production and management of design programmes aligned with overall project schedules
- Review design information for buildability, compliance, and coordination
- Help manage RFIs, design changes, and technical queries
- Attend and contribute to design team meetings, workshops, and coordination sessions
- Ensure design deliverables align with employer’s requirements, contract obligations, and project briefs
- Support value engineering and design development initiatives
- Maintain accurate design records, trackers, and document control systems
- Work closely with commercial, construction, and procurement teams to support successful project delivery.
Essential:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Interior Design, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience working on commercial or hospitality projects, ideally fit-out focused
- Strong understanding of the design process and construction stages
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Proactive, organised, and keen to develop a career in design management
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment
