Experienced Sous Chef

We are an exciting new Mexican fusion restaurant in Shoreditch looking for an experienced sous chef who is not afraid to think outside the box and push the boundaries of flavour, texture and presentation, and play a leading role in the kitchen. The Role Cuisine Experience Experience and knowledge in one or more of the following cuisines would be highly desirable: Mexican South American Japanese Spanish You don't necessarily need experience in all of them we're particularly interested in chefs who have a strong foundation in one of these cuisines and are excited by the opportunity to combine techniques, ingredients and flavours in new and unexpected ways. What Were Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Preferably experienced in a fine dining or high-end professional kitchen, but not essential Professionally trained in culinary or holds an equivalent qualification. Highly knowledgeable about flavour combinations, seasoning, and flavour balance . Confident leading a kitchen team during busy services. Calm, detail-oriented, organised, and able to perform under pressure. A strong communicator and supportive team leader. Qualified to at least Level 2 Food Hygiene standard. Ambitious and motivated to progress towards a Head Chef position. Keen to develop their skills in kitchen management, menu development, team leadership. Why Join Us?
