Leadership, Direction and Control

  • Provide clear leadership and direction to the Production Unit in line with Alleima strategy, values, and business objectives.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve an effective site management team.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high ethical standards.
  • Ensure effective communication and cooperation with employees, employee representatives, and trade unions.

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)

  • Hold overall accountability for Health, Safety and Environmental performance at the Perth site.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable legislation, Alleima policies, and management system requirements.
  • Actively lead and demonstrate commitment to the Zero Harm philosophy.
  • Ensure risks are identified, assessed, and controlled, and that incidents are investigated and corrective actions implemented.
  • Exercise authority to stop work or production where unsafe or non‐compliant conditions exist.

Operations and Manufacturing Performance

  • Ensure production is planned and executed to meet agreed safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Secure efficient utilisation of people, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with defined standards, procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in productivity, reliability, and operational effectiveness.

Quality and Customer Satisfaction

  • Ensure delivered products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
  • Maintain and improve right‐first‐time manufacturing and reduce cost of poor quality.
  • Lead resolution of major quality issues and customer escalations.
  • Ensure readiness for and compliance with customer, internal, and third‐party audits.

Financial Management and Results

  • Hold full responsibility for Production Unit financial performance in accordance with agreed budgets and targets.
  • Ensure effective cost control, productivity improvement, and margin development.
  • Manage working capital, with particular focus on inventory and forecast accuracy.
  • Ensure capital investments and improvement projects are evaluated, approved, and executed in line with delegation rules.

Governance, Compliance and Legal Entity Responsibilities

  • Act as Managing Director / Legal Entity Representative where delegated.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, corporate governance requirements, and Alleima management systems.
  • Operate within the applicable Delegation of Authority and Purchasing Authorisation frameworks.
  • Ensure timely identification, escalation, and mitigation of legal, operational, and financial risks.
  • Ensure audit findings and non‐conformities are closed within agreed timeframes.

Customer Relations

  • Customer visits as required to support Global Product Manager and Sales Units.
  • Attendance at relevant exhibitions to promote PU products and services.
  • Involvement in resolution of customer complaints.
  • Support new business opportunities and product developments.
