We are looking for an energetic, driven sales professional with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude, and proven sales experience to join our Sales organization as an Account Executive to focus primarily on the German market. Kantata’s largest European customer is based in Germany and the pipeline of German opportunities is growing significantly. This growth and significant potential in the German market has resulted in a role being created to focus on that market specifically. As such, you will be charged with growing our market share across the German-speaking countries in EMEA in the Professional Services Automation (PSA) and Project Management (PM) categories where Kantata is a market leader, focused on disciplined prospecting, working closely with Business Development Representatives (BDRs), identifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunities.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 10+ years experience of quota carrying complex application software (SaaS preferred) sales experience.
  • Strong executive presence and experience driving the sales cycle with Director, VP, and C-level business (primary) and IT executives.
  • Track record of success owning a ~ $1,000,000 Quota and consistently exceeding assigned quotas while selling a complex product(s) with an annual contract value of $200K or greater.
  • Process-oriented with a strong discipline and proven track record of effectively leveraging the MEDDIC sales methodology.
  • Relentless and resolute in the pursuit to close deals while providing a remarkable prospect and client experience.
  • Proven ability to outbound prospect and build out a defined territory.
  • Experience working and networking with channel partners.
  • Innovative, competent with proven success in building relationships within existing and targeted accounts.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly goals and production levels as defined by sales management.
  • Experience working side-by-side with Sales Engineers and/or Solution Partners.
  • Professional Services domain expertise, an understanding of project management, and marketing agencies industry/organizations.
  • A team player willing to contribute and help others be their best and achieve their goals.
  • Strong organizational skills while maintaining accurate weekly sales forecast.
  • Strong work ethic, self-discipline and time management skills.

Additional Information

  • Native / Bilingual German Proficiency is desired whilst Full Professional Proficiency German will be considered.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to London as and when required but likely no more than once per month.
  • Highly preferable for individual to be based in or near London / Frankfurt to collaborate with team members and customers in London/ Frankfurt office at least 1x/week.
