About The Role
As Global Senior Director for Business Intelligence within Kantar’s Global Panel Team, you will lead the BI strategy and delivery for our proprietary panels. This role spans end-to-end ownership of dashboards, semantic models, and automated reporting, leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to enable data-driven decisions. You will partner with Data Science and global delivery teams to ensure governance, reliability, and measurable commercial impact from BI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute BI strategy for Panel Health, ensuring adoption and measurable outcomes.
- Design and maintain governed semantic models and dashboards in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Collaborate with Data Science to productionise models into robust datasets and reporting assets.
- Implement governance and security standards, including RLS, sensitivity labels, and DLP policies.
- Drive automation through Fabric AI Skill, reducing manual reporting and accelerating insights.
- Establish QA processes and deployment pipelines with the Global Delivery Centre for scalable delivery.
- Communicate ROI improvements and commercial impact of BI initiatives to senior stakeholders.
Ideal Skills & Experience
- Expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI (semantic models, DAX, deployment pipelines).
- Strong understanding of governance, security, and compliance in BI environments.
- Experience in automation and agentic reporting using AI-driven tools.
- Proven ability to link BI initiatives to business outcomes and quantify ROI.
- Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams, including Data Science and engineering.
Preferred Background
- Familiarity with panel operations, survey data, and performance metrics.
- Experience with distributed delivery models and CI/CD for BI.
Success Measures
- Adoption: Monthly active users and positive feedback on Panel Health dashboards.
- Reliability: Meeting refresh SLAs and maintaining data quality standards.
- Automation: Reduction in manual reporting and improved time-to-insight.
