KANTAR Africa Insight is a division within Kantar that specializes in Consumer, Shopper and Customer research in Sub-Saharan Africa, based in the UK. Our work primarily supports a leading global alcoholic beverage company with whom we have a long-standing partnership. We are trusted advisors on their Africa brand strategy across a diverse brand portfolio.
We are a small, rapidly growing team committed to understanding our clients’ business needs and helping them seize opportunities in Africa, a region experiencing exponential growth across multiple product categories.
The role
This role offers the chance to work within a results-oriented team supporting a key account in the Alcoholic drinks sector. It provides an opportunity to develop expertise in the alcoholic drinks industry and build strong client relationships. The role involves engaging with the dynamic research environment in Africa and utilizing innovative Kantar solutions.
Who We Are Looking For
- Someone to support the team by managing and delivering research projects for our key alcohol beverage account.
- The primary project is a Brand Tracking study across 10 African markets, crucial for our client’s brand strategy.
- Opportunities also exist for ad-hoc projects in Innovation, Shopper Understanding, and Creative Optimization.
- An individual with a genuine interest in quantitative research, curiosity about brands and advertising, and confidence in client interactions.
- Energetic, eager to learn and improve, committed to high standards and exceeding expectations.
The purpose of the role
- Work closely with the team, taking ownership of assigned tasks and supporting senior members.
- Assist with planning, implementing, and managing research projects, analyzing data, developing insights, and creating presentations.
Responsibilities
- Execute research projects with team support.
- Manage daily project activities including planning, problem-solving, and delivery under supervision.
- Design research materials such as questionnaires and stimuli.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal units.
- Support client servicing efforts.
- Manipulate and analyze data, prepare visualizations and reports.
- Proactively suggest improvements and solutions.
- Assist in preparing presentations under guidance.

- Willingness to travel to Africa occasionally.
- Experience in quantitative research methods.
- Understanding of the market research cycle from questionnaire design to data collection and analysis.
