As people increasingly move across channels and platforms, Kantar Media’s TGI data and audience measurement, targeting, analytics and advertising intelligence services unlock insights to inform powerful decision-making. Working with panel and first-party data in over 80 countries, we have the world’s fastest growing cross-media measurement footprint, underpinned by versatility, scale, technology and expertise, to drive long-term business growth for our clients and partners.

This is a full-time permanent position, based in our London office. We operate on a hybrid working arrangement and require a minimum of 2 days in the office. We welcome all applications from those with the legal right to live and work permanently in the UK, without requiring VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

We are looking for a curious, organised and client-focused Research & Client Analyst to join our team working on Barb, the UK’s gold-standard TV and video audience measurement service, delivered by Kantar Media. Barb provides the industry with trusted audience data covering broadcast TV, subscription video on demand, broadcaster video on demand and video-sharing platforms, based on a nationally representative panel of 7,000 households. This role offers strong development opportunities and is well suited to people at the early stages of their career, or looking to build experience in TV, streaming, video and data-driven media.

As a Research & Client Executive, you’ll be the first point of contact for Barb data users, primarily broadcasters. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to client queries about audience data and programme log submissions
  • Investigating data queries, identifying potential issues and working through solutions
  • Clearly communicating data issues, changes and delays to clients
  • Helping maintain high standards of data quality and client service

An interest in TV, streaming, video and digital media is essential, along with a logical, curious mindset and comfort working with numbers or data. An understanding of audience measurement, research methods or media data would be beneficial, but is not essential.

Standard weekday working hours, with a hybrid pattern of two days per week at our London office location of Hanger Lane. Participation in a weekend on-call rota (approximately two mornings per month), paid as overtime.

At Kantar, the diversity of our employees provides a richer environment for our employees and broader depth and breadth of thinking for our clients. Kantar is committed to inclusion and diversity; therefore, we welcome applications from all sections of society and do not discriminate based on age, race, religion, gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, marital status, or any other legally protected characteristics.

Our approach helps to ensure we are market competitive and to support a pay for performance culture, where your reward and career progression opportunities are linked to what you deliver. We want to create a more diverse community to expand our talent pool, be locally representative, drive diversity of thinking and better commercial outcomes.

Please note that by applying to this opportunity you consent to the personal data you provide to us to be processed and retained by The Kantar Group Limited (“Kantar”). Your details will be kept on our Internal ATS (Applicant Tracking System) for as long as is necessary for the purposes of recruitment, which may include your details being shared with the hiring manager(s) and for consideration for potential future opportunities by Kantar and its affiliate Kantar group companies.
