We are looking for an exceptional Account Director who shares our passion for media, advertising and commercial insight and the impact it has on our client’s creative and commercial success. As Account Director, you will be responsible for partnering with our top tier clients to drive the growth of both our subscription and custom insight business for your client portfolio. The ideal candidate will also have people management experience and will lead and mentor a small team of Account Managers/Consultants.

Requirements:
- Proven account management experience, ideally in a media, research, data, consulting, or similar business
- Experience managing multi stakeholder accounts and negotiating with senior representatives
- Experience with Procurement processes is a distinct advantage
- A deep understanding and interest in the worlds of media and advertising
- A consultative and strategic approach to clients, an active listener who identifies and closes opportunities
- Experience managing and developing people
- You are highly organised and manage your time effectively
- You consider yourself a ‘people person’ and get a buzz from meeting new people, both virtually and in person
- You enjoy developing relationships with people and have experience creating successful long‑term partnerships
- A self‑starter who proactively seeks new opportunities to learn and develop
- You love being part of a team and contributing to making great things happen!
What will you be doing?
- Manage a portfolio of top tier media and agency accounts
- Deliver first‑class account management to retain and grow revenue
- Negotiate renewal contracts at a senior level - renewing data, insight, digital activation, and software agreements
- Look for opportunities to warm leap within your clients, supporting new budget holders with impactful solutions
- Develop strategic account plans to meet revenue and performance KPIs
- Build trusted advisor relationships with clients by knowing, networking and nurturing
- Collaborate with internal teams bringing ideas and the voice of the client to shape how we do things
- Lead and mentor your direct reports, joining meetings, supporting on strategic account plans to enable them to learn from your experience
- Represent the business at industry events
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM records and financial reporting, providing accurate forecasts
