The PR & External Communications Manager drives clear, compelling and consistent communication to Kantar Media's external audiences including clients, prospects, partners, journalists and industry stakeholders. The role focuses on the creation and delivery of high‐quality external content, management of our social channels and day‐to‐day coordination of PR activity with external agencies.

Key Responsibilities
- Client & Partner Communications
- Support the development of clear, consistent external communications for clients and partners, including updates, announcements, product changes and partnership activity.
- Work closely with commercial, product and go‐to‐market teams to ensure all messaging is aligned and delivered in a timely, accurate manner.
- Package complex updates into simple, high‐impact communications that support global and regional client engagement.
- Coordinate with central and market teams to ensure client‐facing information reflects the new brand and updated messaging framework (from late February onward).
- PR & Media Relations
- Draft and review press releases, corporate statements, Q&As and briefing documents.
- Manage inbound media enquiries: triage requests, coordinate timely responses and work with subject-matter experts to ensure accuracy.
- Act as a day‐to‐day contact for PR agencies, ensuring alignment on priorities, messaging, story angles and timing.
- Support proactive PR activity, including media outreach, narrative refinement and campaign execution.
- Maintain media materials such as boilerplates, bios and key messages — ensuring updates through the re‐brand period.
- Social Media Management (LinkedIn & YouTube)
- Lead the planning, scheduling and quality control of content on Kantar Media's LinkedIn and YouTube channels.
- Ensure posts are accurate, consistent with our messaging and aligned with the evolving brand.
- Partner with teams across the business to source assets, approvals and timely content inputs. Work with internal comms teams to scale our LinkedIn messaging internally.
- Monitor performance, optimise publishing tactics, and provide regular insights to internal stakeholders.
- Re‐Brand Support & Messaging Consistency (from late February)
- Play a key role in applying the new brand across external communications.
- Ensure all client, partner, PR and social communications reflect the updated identity and message framework.
- Act as a guardian for tone of voice and message consistency across materials produced by different markets and teams.
- Support the distribution of re‐brand guidelines and ensure external touchpoints transition smoothly.
- Agency & Stakeholder Management
- Manage day‐to‐day interactions with PR agencies, ensuring they receive clear briefs, timely feedback and accurate messaging.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders — including Legal, Product and commercial teams — to ensure communications are approved and compliant.
- Maintain efficient workflows for content routing, approval and release across global teams.
Experience Required
- Experience in PR, external communications or corporate communications, ideally in media, technology or B2B environments.
- Strong experience managing corporate LinkedIn channels; familiarity with YouTube a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to draft and review press releases and manage media requests.
- Experience supporting or implementing a brand transition is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
- Qualifications in PR, communications or marketing welcome but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
