Country manager candidate(UK) – Senior Account Executive(SaaS) role at KANNA.
Background: Aldagram Co., Ltd. (https://aldagram.com/en/) is a leading Japanese startup founded in 2019 with the mission \”Unlocking Your Value.\” We offer KANNA, a SaaS project management application focused on non-desk workers across manufacturing, construction, real estate, and similar industries. Since July 2022, we have expanded across Japan and Asia and recently initiated a test expansion into the UK. We are hiring our first sales leader to pioneer and expand the UK and broader European market, with potential to grow into the role of Country Head.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential enterprise customers through multiple channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and other sales tools.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, product demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
- Build, manage, and develop relationships with new customers from initial contact to contract signing.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Understand customer needs and translate them into tailored SaaS solutions.
- Leverage creative prospecting strategies to develop new business opportunities.
- Develop market insights and competitive analysis to refine go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams to maximize client outcomes.
- Establish best practices for sales processes in a new market environment.
- (Preferred) Recruit, lead, and manage a high-performing sales/marketing team as the business scales.
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; minimum 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience.
- Proven track record of end-to-end sales ownership, from lead generation to closing.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, prospect, and engage potential customers via cold calling, email, social media, and other outbound strategies.
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales targets in enterprise SaaS.
- Proven ability to build account plans and self-initiate sales strategies.
- Experience in value-based selling with measurable business impact.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to build long-term relationships with executive stakeholders.
- Experience launching and expanding a SaaS business from scratch in the UK market.
- Recent experience selling to construction, real estate, manufacturing, engineering or related industries.
- Leadership experience managing teams of 5 or more sales professionals.
- Familiarity with long and complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Technical understanding of SaaS products, integrations, and APIs.
