We are hiring a Forest School Practitioner to inspire learning outdoors!
Location: Bradford, Keighley, Craven & surrounding areas
Hours: Minimum 22.5 hours worked across Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm
Contract: Permanent, year-round
Wage: TBC
Travel expectations: Regular school visits across the region; attendance at head office for meetings; some opportunities to work from home.

We are now developing our Forest School and outdoor learning provision and are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable and committed Level 3 Forest School Practitioner to join our team on a permanent, year-round basis. This is a rare opportunity in outdoor education, offering security, development and the chance to help shape a growing provision.

What is the role?
This is a hands-on, rewarding role delivering Forest School and outdoor learning sessions to primary-aged children during term time, alongside leading Forest School holiday camps during school holidays. You will be part of a wider community of Kanga colleagues, working across school sites while also being trusted to plan and deliver high-quality sessions independently when required.
We are particularly keen to hear from:
- Primary teachers with Forest School qualifications
- Primary teachers working towards Level 3 Forest School Practitioner status
What will you be doing?
- Planning and delivering high-quality Forest School sessions for primary-aged children
- Creating safe, inclusive and engaging outdoor learning environments
- Supporting the development of outdoor learning linked to the primary curriculum
- Leading and delivering Forest School holiday camps during school holidays
- Working collaboratively with the wider Kanga team to uphold safeguarding, quality and company values
- Managing resources and maintaining outdoor learning spaces in line with best practice

- Term-time delivery across schools in Bradford and nearby areas
