Main purpose of the role:
We are seeking Warehouse Operative to join our team. A warehouse operative ensures the safe receipt and appropriate storage of goods, including checking and completing the relevant documentation and data entry into the appropriate systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
- Storing and rotating stock according to set procedures.
- Keeping the warehouse and yard environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment.
- Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods and completing health and safety checks on equipment as per company policy.
- Completing the necessary warehouse inventory controls stock counts, weighing and recording weights.
