Salary: £42,600 - £51,380
Hours: 4 days on / 4 days off 06:00am – 18:00pm (Days) OR 18:00pm - 06:00am (Nights)
Main purpose of the role: To deliver a successful engineering maintenance shift, with respect to OEE, via effective fault diagnosis and repair and maintenance activities, all performed to the relevant practices and procedures which ensure the health and safety of the engineering team, the food safety of our products, and cost efficiency via engineering talent.
Job Responsibilities:
- Mechanical – 30%
- Ability to diagnose faults in a safe, controlled and effective manner.
- Conduct breakdown repairs in a safe and efficient manner.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure equipment issues are resolved.
- Must be competent to conduct root cause analysis.
- Must be able to record findings and breakdowns and communicate these to enable an improved solution.
- To identify areas of poor equipment performance, and working with the Team Leader implement improvements in a controlled and measurable fashion.
- Must be competent to conduct Preventative Maintenance activities to a very high standard and be able to record and relay findings and identify methods of improvement.
- Must be able to electrically fault find in a safe, methodical and timely manner.
- Can conduct electrical machinery audits.
- To monitor and ensure that manufacturing equipment does not pose any electrical risks to personnel.
- To identify areas of poor equipment performance, and working with the Team Leader implement improvements in a controlled and measurable fashion.
- Must be competent to conduct Preventative Maintenance activities to a very high standard and be able to record and relay findings and identify methods of improvement.
