A Quality Assurance Auditor is needed to support the production process to ensure we produce safe, legally compliant, high-quality products.

Location: Cleeve Road, Evesham

Job Type: Permanent

Main purpose of the role: To support the production process to ensure we produce safe, legally compliant, high-quality products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To have a proactive approach to incidents within the factory – to give support during investigations and guidance to resolve highlighted issues and prevent re-occurrence.
  • To support, advise and help improve manufacturing operation and ensure products are produced to specification through GMP audits and/or process audits and effective communication of findings.
  • To support production team in management of non-conforming product or raw material discovered in the factory.
  • To investigate microbiological issues and customer complaints where required.
  • To be present during NPD trials and to take an active part in new product introductions into the factory.
  • To ensure all food safety, legality and quality monitoring equipment is verified at the predetermined frequencies.
  • To conduct HACCP validation and verification exercises in line with the business HACCP plan.
  • To conduct microbiological and allergen swabbing, collect air/water samples and any other sample collection that is required as a part of an investigation or project work.
  • To conduct shelf-life assessments and record findings – report any anomalies.
  • Work on projects individually or as a part of a team to enhance quality and food safety systems and improve production efficiency.
  • Any other reasonable duties to meet the needs of the business.

  • Food Safety Level 2.
