Job Title: Engineering & Operations Administrator

Location: Middle Littleton, Evesham

Job Type: Permanent

Reporting to: Engineering Director

Salary: £30,414 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00am - 16:00pm

Main purpose of the role:

To support the effective running of the Engineering function through accurate coordination of labour, training, procurement, system administration, and communication. Ensure the operations team have all the required paperwork ready pre-shift across all areas particularly technical, ops and planning. Complete weekend in advance.

Job Responsibilities:

Shift Coordination & Labour Planning

β€’ Organise shift cover for holidays, sickness, training, and unplanned absences.

β€’ Update and maintain the engineering shift rota in real time.

β€’ Communicate rota updates clearly to team leaders and engineers.

β€’ Track contract labour utilisation and associated spend.

Procurement & Financial Administration

β€’ Raise purchase orders for parts, services, and consumables when required.

β€’ Liaise with suppliers regarding order status and documentation.

β€’ Support tracking spend for labour, parts, and project budgets.

β€’ Work Order & System Administration

β€’ Support CMMS data accuracy and upkeep.

β€’ Generate reports and KPI data for meetings.

Communication & Coordination

β€’ Liaise between engineers, TLs, contractors, and other departments when required.

β€’ Coordinate contractor access and documentation (RAMS, permits, inductions).

β€’ Communicate training schedules.

β€’ Update internal engineering communications when required.

Compliance & Record Keeping

β€’ Maintain accurate training records.

Job requirements:

Skills & Experience required to do this role...

β€’ Strong organisational and planning skills.

β€’ Clear communication with technical and non-technical teams.

β€’ Experience in scheduling or coordination.

β€’ Competent in MS Office and CMMS platforms.

β€’ High accuracy and attention to detail.

β€’ Experience within engineering or manufacturing.

β€’ Knowledge of procurement or financial admin.

β€’ Familiarity with CMMS systems
