Salary: £13.66ph as a trainee for 3 months (once training completed you will be on Process Leader salary of £32,713.63 per annum)
Hours: Red shift: Sunday-Tuesday (alt Wednesdays) OR Blue shift: Thursday-Saturday (Alternate Wednesdays) 04:00am-16:00pm
Job Summary: We are seeking Line Leaders to join our team on our Noodle Line. The Line Leaders will oversee the production lines, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. This role requires experience in the food industry; previous experience of FMCG chilled food environment is essential.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure the safe and efficient running of a production process and to satisfy the production by maximizing available resources including raw materials, labour, and machinery.
- Setting high standards in the manufacturing department to be always audit ready.
- Carry out process checks accurately and on-time, following all company procedures to maintain food safety, product quality and integrity, authenticity and legality.
- Support the Shift Manager to deliver the operational goals and objectives for the shift.
- Ensure that Critical Control Points (CCPs) are adhered to and followed for all processes.
- Responsible for the daily Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and delivery thereof.
- Accountable for process Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and delivering performance.
- Maintain a high level of service to internal and external customers.
- Understand and promote a positive attitude within your team and across the business.
- Build and develop strong relationships cross-functionally.
- Demonstrate support and help to fellow team members, accepting and adopting new challenges and changes in plan.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety policies and regulations across the site.
- Insist on adherence by all to company and departmental regulations and guidelines by setting the standard yourself.
- Follow the company escalation procedure when necessary.
Job requirements:
Skills & Experience required to do this role:
- Can demonstrate competency in People Management with an ability to develop, motivate & challenge direct reports.
- Ensure maximum performance output is achieved by managing through people and processes whilst adhering to policies.
- Ability to communicate clearly with staff across all levels.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment through effective communication with the team.
- Competent in driving performance levels, line efficiencies and line utilisation by maximising the potential of the people, plant and time available.
- Can work to deadlines and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Previous experience of FMCG chilled food environment is essential.
Qualifications: HACCP & Food Safety trained to Level 2/3
