What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing first-line HR advice to managers and employees across a portfolio of clients.
  • Supporting employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, capability and redundancy matters.
  • Assisting clients with employment law queries and helping them make confident, commercially sound people decisions.
  • Preparing contracts of employment, offer letters, policies, handbooks, employee communications and other HR documentation.
  • Maintaining HR systems, employee records and compliance processes, ensuring clients remain compliant and well organised.
  • Conducting right to work, reference, DBS and other compliance-related checks where required.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted extension of their team.
  • Supporting projects such as employee engagement initiatives, recruitment campaigns, organisational change, performance management frameworks and reward benchmarking.

What We're Looking For

  • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
  • Previous HR Advisor experience, or a strong HR administration background with a desire to progress.
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Confidence managing a varied workload and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused approach.
  • High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
