The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Events Manager to take the lead on major projects and mentor our growing team. You’ll work closely with our Managing Director and fellow senior managers to deliver exceptional events. Working within our busy open‑plan office environment, teamwork is essential whilst remaining focused on each client project and delivering high‑quality results.
You will coordinate a variety of UK‑based and international events, ensuring the smooth execution of all event logistics and client interactions. This is a hands‑on role where someone who loves variety, can juggle several projects at once and takes responsibility, and the thrill of delivering exceptional events will thrive.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain a professional and calm demeanour when liaising with clients, ensuring excellent service delivery from initial meetings to event execution.
- Team working essential to inspire a team to deliver multiple events flawlessly.
- Plan and manage high‑profile events from initial concept to completion, both in the UK and internationally.
- Prepare and manage detailed budgets, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency, including P&L analysis, TOMS application and cost control to deliver projects within financial parameters.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service at every stage.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best contracts, ensuring all necessary event requirements are met.
- Create compelling proposals and presentations that impress and win business.
- Research, create, and deliver compelling, creative proposals and presentations using PowerPoint, tailored to client needs.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and manage risk assessments.
- Support social media and marketing campaigns to showcase our brand, manage event‑related content on various social media platforms, and assist with the development of sales materials and campaigns.
- Use project management tools such as 'MONDAY' to update and manage event workflows and databases, ensuring smooth communication and project tracking.
- Represent Tigerlike at FAMS, networking events and industry forums.
- Maintain confidentiality under strict NDAs for private and corporate clients.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, contributing to agenda creation and project workload allocation.
- Mentor and develop junior colleagues, fostering a supportive, collaborative work environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the event industry sector, ideally within an agency, corporate office, hotel/venue events office, or similar environment.
- Proven ability to take the lead and juggle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage large‑scale events, both domestic and international, with experience in VIP and ultra‑high‑net‑worth client management.
- Strong project management and budgeting skills, with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a polished telephone manner and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with delegate registration platforms, event apps, and social media management.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail and design.
- Full UK driving licence, own car, and valid passport.
