We are actively seeking a TIG Welder/Fabricator to join the team. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprint drawings provided and work from your initiative To work alongside the existing team in a busy environment Fabricating pipework sections as per engineer drawings to the highest standard and quality Proper handling of machines and tools at all times Observe or monitor objects to determine compliance with prescribed operating or safety standards Visually inspect welds to determine compliance with standards Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service Experience & Knowledge Essential 3 5 years experience fabricating/welding with black iron and stainless-steel pipe To be competent in operating hand and power tools common to the Fabricating / Welding trade Experience using Personal Protective Equipment and have experience of operation safety equipment and use safe work habits Skills Must have the ability to work from detailed drawings Very good attention to detail Excellent attitude to Health & Safety and Quality standards Willingness to maintain good housekeeping & safe working environment Benefits Cash Health Plan to include Employee Assistance Programme 4 x Salary Death in Service cover Auto Enrolment Company Pension scheme (Salary Sacrifice) Company Sick Pay Scheme, which is available upon successful completion of probation, and increases with service Enhanced maternity & paternity benefits Paid professional subscriptions Variety of employee discounts Cycle to Work Scheme Branded clothing Active Social and Wellbeing Committees Annual Health Checks Full use of onsite state of the art gym Awards for long service Additional annual leave based on length of service Training and development opportunities.
