ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE: Responsible for providing accounting support and performing accounting and clerical functions. Has the ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth operations. Undertake a variety of activities in accounting ranging from invoicing, filing, reconciliation, and accounts payable. You must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills and knowledge of accounting procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyses business and financial data.
- Creates financial models based on analyses to support organisational decision making.
- Develops financial plans and reports for organisational leaders.
- Tracks current financial data to alert stakeholders in case of deviation.
- Creates written reports that enable management teams to make strategic decisions to meet business goals.
- Produces monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
- Spearheads the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Identifies opportunities for performance improvement across the organisation.
- Maintains knowledge and keeps abreast of new applicable regulations or policies.
- Assists office management and organisation procedures.
- Filing. Maintains files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible.
- Utilises office appliances such as photocopiers, printers etc. and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
- Ensures timely and accurate accounts payable duties.
- Coding credit card transactions.
- Order processing and basic accounting entries.
- Posts journal entries to general ledger.
- Other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include superior interpersonal and patient contact skills and excellent telephone manners.
- Ability to effectively lead a team.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE, NOT REQUIRED:
- At least one (1) year of Management experience.
- At least one (1) year of related experience in a healthcare setting.
