ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE: Responsible for providing accounting support and performing accounting and clerical functions. Has the ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth operations. Undertake a variety of activities in accounting ranging from invoicing, filing, reconciliation, and accounts payable. You must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills and knowledge of accounting procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyses business and financial data.
  • Creates financial models based on analyses to support organisational decision making.
  • Develops financial plans and reports for organisational leaders.
  • Tracks current financial data to alert stakeholders in case of deviation.
  • Creates written reports that enable management teams to make strategic decisions to meet business goals.
  • Produces monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
  • Spearheads the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Identifies opportunities for performance improvement across the organisation.
  • Maintains knowledge and keeps abreast of new applicable regulations or policies.
  • Assists office management and organisation procedures.
  • Filing. Maintains files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible.
  • Utilises office appliances such as photocopiers, printers etc. and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
  • Ensures timely and accurate accounts payable duties.
  • Coding credit card transactions.
  • Order processing and basic accounting entries.
  • Posts journal entries to general ledger.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include superior interpersonal and patient contact skills and excellent telephone manners.
  • Ability to effectively lead a team.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE, NOT REQUIRED:

  • At least one (1) year of Management experience.
  • At least one (1) year of related experience in a healthcare setting.
