QA Team Leader is required by this food manufacturing company who provide a broad variety of Chilled and Confectionery food products to the Airlines, Food Service and Retail sectors. OPPORTUNTIY HIGHLIGHTS 12:00-22:00pm Shift pattern – Mon-Fri. Competitive salary – 31,000 – 34,000. THE QA TEAM LEADER As a QA Team Leader you will lead a team of 4 QAs, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and food safety. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes, implementing quality assurance practices, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance procedures for all products produced on site. Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards. Analyse quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP, GMP, and other industry standards. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Potential candidates for the QA Team Leader will need: At least 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry, preferably with ready meals. Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., HACCP, Six Sigma) are a plus. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards. Proficiency in quality control techniques and tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
