The role includes assisting with all aspects of HR activity and managing the day-to-day activities of Human Resources. Responsibilities include: Recruitment: recruitment & selection, updating job descriptions, conducting interviews & assessment tests, referencing, and ID validation. Managing sickness and absence, advising management/line managers, and coordinating/handling long-term absence. Providing advice and guidance to all employees on HR issues. Setting up company policies and procedures to meet legislation requirements and best practices. Undertaking generalist HR meetings – disciplinary, grievances, inductions, and management meetings. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We need someone experienced who can start immediately! This is a fast-paced manufacturing site, ideally with experience in FMCG or manufacturing businesses.
