An established and fast-growing manufacturer within the food and nutrition sector is seeking a diligent Quality Technologist to support core quality operations across testing, documentation, audits, and compliance. The Quality Technologist Role
As Quality Technologist, you will help ensure the consistent quality, safety, and compliance of products through the support of daily testing, documentation control, internal auditing, and site monitoring activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine sampling, testing, reporting, and release of raw materials and finished products
- Highlighting analytical failures (OOS results) and contributing to investigations
- Coordinating concessions, pre-shipment samples, and urgent orders with customer support
- Carrying out GMP and hygiene audits, environmental and allergen monitoring
- Supporting validation activities such as allergen, homogeneity, cleaning, and shelf-life studies
- Conducting pre-requisite checks including temperature and humidity monitoring
- Verifying batch paperwork and labels for production
- Collating and reviewing analysis data for product release
- Coordinating testing with internal and external laboratories
- Assisting production teams with quality or process-related issues

About You
We are looking for an organised and proactive individual with a strong interest in quality and food safety.
You will have:
- Knowledge of Quality/Technical standards used within the food industry (GFSI or similar)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Quality, Technical, or similar role in food or supplement manufacturing/distribution
- Experience managing non-conformances or complaints (beneficial)
- Awareness of microbiological principles (advantageous but not essential)
