OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS 3 on, 3 off – Days and Nights (7am-7pm and 7pm – 7am) Competitive Salary – £45,000 Great Company Excellent Prospects THE ROLE This position requires strong Production Manufacturing Experience and hands-on leadership skills, along with a passion for developing and mentoring team members whilst achieving desired results. Key responsibilities will include: Manage all production staff, using your direct reports to maintain production plans and meet KPI and production targets Monitor and challenge line downtime losses, highlight to improve OEE performance Drive continuous improvement in waste reduction and management Continuously challenge changeover time to drive further reduction Ensure delivery of the schedule to the set target on a daily and weekly basis Support all trails and bringing to market NPD and EPD initiatives Recognise, highlight and resolve where appropriate training needs and performance shortfalls in team members both Compliance and On-The-Job THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Will have a strong food manufacturing background. A strong knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing The Shift Manager needs to also possess excellent leadership skills to drive overall productions across the shift.
