Are you a skilled Engineering Technician with experience in a manufacturing environment? We\’re looking for a proactive and reliable individual to join a global leader in ingredient and premix manufacturing. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company with over 40 years of industry experience, providing engineering support across essential production and facility operations.
You\’ll be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure smooth operations and uphold food safety and hygiene standards.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Performing reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance on critical equipment
- Supporting production teams and responding to technical issues efficiently
- Prioritising work orders and communicating with stakeholders and supervisors
- Maintaining accurate records through a CCMS system
- Managing contractors and ensuring compliance with PTW & RAMS
- Leading or participating in continuous improvement initiatives
- Carrying out project installations to current UK Regulations
- Ensuring excellent housekeeping and maintaining food hygiene standards
What We\’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar (or time-served equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years\’ experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment (ideally food production)
- Experience with CMMS systems and strong Microsoft Office skills
- Strong technical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of PLCs, variable speed drives, and fault finding (advantageous)
- IOSH or Legionella qualifications (desirable)
- A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
