Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating shifts
- Week 1: 6:00am-2:00pm
The Role
A busy and well-established warehouse operation in Thame is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join the team on a permanent basis.
The role will involve a mixture of forklift operation, picking and general warehouse duties, ensuring goods are moved, stored and prepared safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate counterbalance forklifts
- Load and unload deliveries
- Move, stack and store goods safely and accurately
- Pick and prepare orders for production
- Complete daily forklift checks and report any faults
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
- Follow all health & safety procedures
- Support with general warehouse duties as required
About You
The successful candidate must have previous counterbalance forklift experience and be confident operating a forklift within a busy warehouse environment.
You will also need:
- A valid counterbalance forklift licence (this is essential)
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- A reliable and hardworking approach
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good timekeeping
- The ability to carry out some manual handling
Experience using warehouse management systems or working within a fast-paced warehouse environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
