The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Fitter & Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team based in Aylesbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong manufacturing background who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out fitting and assembly of components to a high standard.
- Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, including Third Angle Projection drawings.
- Follow work instructions and assembly procedures to ensure products are manufactured to specification.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently where required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and company procedures.
- Assist across different production areas when required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Previous fitting and assembly experience.
- Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings, including Third Angle Projection drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
