The Role

Working within a skilled fabrication and welding team, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality welded fabrications while ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards. You'll work from engineering drawings, complete fabrication and welding tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement across the production department.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carrying out coded welding and fabrication work to a high standard
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings (Third Angle Projection)
  • Completing quality inspections, including MPI/Dye Pen testing where required
  • Recording production information using an MRP system
  • Maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient working environment
  • Supporting Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives
  • Working collaboratively to achieve production targets and deliver exceptional quality

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

  • At least 2 years' welding experience within a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Basic computer skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
