Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with varying disabilities.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Support individuals in attending medical appointments, accessing community resources, social inclusion, and wellbeing activities.
  • Monitor and document client progress and care provided.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and other team members to ensure holistic care.

Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness and eligibility to obtain prior to commencement.
  • Working with Children check or willingness and eligibility to obtain prior to commencement.
  • Valid unrestricted driver's licence.
  • Availability to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings and overnight).
  • Experience supporting people with mental health and high care physical disabilities.
  • Experience assisting clients with all personal care, manual handling, hoisting, PEG feeding, dysphagia.
  • Holding Medication, Dysphagia, PEG feeding and Manual Handling certificates.
