- New TEACHERS hired after July 1, 2012, who apply to coach on the secondary level (grades 6-12) must complete the three‑hour training session provided by Kanawha County Schools and complete the Online Concussion Awareness Course through the KCS Staff Development Site. The training courses will be taught throughout the year. Cost of the course will be $15.00.
