We are hiring a qualified and experienced Engineer to supervise a Maintenance team on our Westfield Energy from Waste (EfW) plant. The Maintenance Supervisor will work as part of our O&M (Operation & Maintenance) Team to provide an efficient planned and responsive maintenance service to the plant. You will also ensure optimum plant performance and output, and ensure conformance of all workers in relation to legal and regulatory requirements, HSEQ and company policies, and safe working practices.
Main responsibilities are:
- Manage the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including management of Superuser and preparation of all work packs (both delegated), schedules and stock management.
- Planning, organisation and monitoring of all routine and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Plan (alongside team and Management Team) Outages as per business plan.
- Development and implementation of a routine inspection and monitoring programme to ensure the plant and all equipment performs at optimum level, and to minimise incidents or breakdowns.
- Planning and performance of all maintenance activities necessary to conform to statutory requirements.
- Manage a preventative maintenance schedule.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) degree, or equivalent experience.
- HSE accredited training qualifications.
- Mid-High level experience in the maintenance of EfW (Energy from Waste) or similar equipment and systems background.
- Specific expertise in resource recovery material handling and waste processing is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in developing and implementing maintenance management systems (including but not limited to CMMS, predictive and preventive maintenance etc.).
- Business level English as a minimum.
