We are looking for two Warranty Engineers, one for our site in Braintree, Essex and one for Wesfield, Fife. When applying, please state your preferred location of the two sites on your cover letter, so that you may be considered for the correct job location.
You will need to be an experienced engineering professional from within the energy-from-waste industry, in order to hit the ground running and to represent Kanadevia Inova on site during the warranty phase of energy-from-waste facilities projects. The role focuses on managing defects, coordinating repairs, and ensuring reliable plant performance of our energy-from-waste facilities projects, in line with company and client expectations. These permanent staff positions are offered on a fixed term contract basis from now until June 2027. Contractor basis could be a potential option depending on circumstances and conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the on-site representative for Kanadevia Inova, managing warranty and defect resolution activities.
- Coordinate contractors, specialists, and client personnel to restore or maintain plant operation.
- Analyse root causes of defects, implement corrective actions, and minimise warranty costs and risks.
- Support claims and cost recovery from subcontractors and partners.
- Maintain accurate operational records and provide clear, timely reporting to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements and contribute to lessons learned.
Proven track record in energy-from-waste during warranty phase, plant operation, construction, or commissioning. Strong technical problem-solving and organisational skills. Confident communicator with proven ability to engage clients and partners effectively. Fluent in English (written and spoken). Self-motivated, ethical, and proactive team player.
