The Certification Manager will maximize the commercial value of biomethane and certificates by strategically optimizing allocations across EU, non‐EU, and national sustainability and certification frameworks.
Main Responsibilities:- Shape and execute commercial strategy with Marketing across schemes such as ISCC, REDcert and Dena, identifying value pools and optimal allocation of biomethane and certificates.
- Monitor regulatory developments, market trends and pricing to support strategic positioning and value optimization.
- Design, implement and govern certification processes ensuring compliant feedstock sourcing, process engineering and mass‐balance accounting.
- Secure optimal GoO and PoS generation, maintaining strong documentation, audit readiness and full compliance across all certification schemes.
- Collaborate with producers and offtakers to ensure regulatory‐aligned production, structure traceable compliant transactions and act as technical/commercial advisor in customer and supplier negotiations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Energy Management, or related field.
- Proven experience 5+ years with biomethane, biofuels, renewable energy certification schemes (ISCC, REDcert, Dena, etc.).
- Strong understanding of EU RED II/III, national biomethane regulations, and mass‐balance methodologies.
- Ability to translate technical certification requirements into commercial opportunities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and problem‐solving skills.
- Language skills: Fluent English.
- Responsible challenge with diversified field of activity.
