We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager with strong Renewable Gas (RG) expertise to lead commissioning activities on our Tambowie RG project, with future opportunities across our global portfolio.
Role Overview
This is a senior, site-based leadership role responsible for overseeing commissioning delivery, driving global standards, and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution across Renewable Gas projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all commissioning activities on-site, ensuring delivery against HSE, schedule, and budget targets.
- Define, implement, and continuously improve commissioning strategies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure commissioning readiness through early project involvement, including planning, system definition, and execution strategy.
- Act as the primary commissioning interface with internal teams, contractors, and the client.
- Monitor progress, risks, and performance, taking corrective action to maintain project objectives.
- Manage commissioning teams and subcontractors, providing clear direction and oversight on site.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, technical specifications, and QA/QC standards.
- Oversee commissioning documentation, testing, trial runs, and handover through to PAC.
- Support customer engagement, including training and operational readiness activities.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with HSE policies and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager or Lead on large-scale Renewable Gas / AD (Anaerobic Digestion) projects.
- Strong technical understanding of process systems and commissioning of complex industrial plants.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams on site.
- Knowledge of contract management, project controls, and commissioning processes.
- Relevant HSE qualifications (e.g. SMSTS / IOSH / NEBOSH) and hazardous area certification (e.g. CompEx) desirable.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills in complex project environments.
- Ability to identify risks, solve problems, and drive effective decision-making.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including with contractors and clients.
- Experience working with project tools (e.g. SAP, Primavera, P&IDs, technical drawings).
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to operate effectively across multiple international projects.
