Project: Medworth Energy from Waste (EfW) Combined Heat and Power Facility

We are hiring a Civil Site Supervisor to start as soon as possible to work on this critical infrastructure project, which will provide a sustainable waste management solution for the region, and we are looking for a safety‑first leader to oversee all civil construction activities on‑site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Leadership: Actively drive HSEQ commitment across Kanadevia Inova and contractor teams, ensuring full compliance with project safety requirements.
  • Risk Control: Review and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure all civil works are conducted within safe parameters.
  • Subcontractor Management: Supervise civil subcontractors to ensure the scope is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Operational Ownership: Take full accountability for civil operations in your delegated area, including maintaining precise records of all construction activities.
  • Strategic Coordination: Manage design look‑aheads and interface with the Civil Contract Manager to ensure transparency and efficiency in site execution.

Note: This is a non‑exhaustive list of duties. The successful candidate may be required to undertake other responsibilities as reasonably requested by site management to ensure project success.

Qualifications
  • Professional Qualifications Educational Background: University degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Civil Industry Experience: Significant experience as a Supervisor in heavy industrial civil business, ideally within an EPC or subcontractor environment.
  • Technical Communication: Strong ability to explain complex technical processes and working methods to diverse site teams.
  • Safety Certifications: Must possess SMSTS (or equivalent) and a valid SCC, Safepass, CSCS, or CCNSG card.
  • IT Skills: Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite for project reporting and documentation.
