I’m currently working with a well-established and growing law firm in Chester that is looking to expand its Employment team with the appointment of an Employment Solicitor (NQ – 3 PQE). This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, gaining exposure to a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters while benefiting from strong mentorship and clear progression opportunities.

The Opportunity

  • You’ll work alongside experienced employment lawyers on a varied caseload, including:
    • Employment Tribunal matters including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, and whistleblowing claims
    • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements, and workplace policies
    • Advising clients on day-to-day employment law issues
    • Supporting negotiations and dispute resolution matters
    • Delivering commercially focused and practical legal advice
    • Building strong client relationships and supporting business development initiatives

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ – 3 PQE)
  • Strong grounding in employment law through a seat or post-qualified experience
  • Interest in both contentious and advisory work
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills
  • Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
