I’m currently working with a well-established and growing law firm in Chester that is looking to expand its Employment team with the appointment of an Employment Solicitor (NQ – 3 PQE). This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, gaining exposure to a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters while benefiting from strong mentorship and clear progression opportunities.
The Opportunity
- You’ll work alongside experienced employment lawyers on a varied caseload, including:
- Employment Tribunal matters including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, and whistleblowing claims
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements, and workplace policies
- Advising clients on day-to-day employment law issues
- Supporting negotiations and dispute resolution matters
- Delivering commercially focused and practical legal advice
- Building strong client relationships and supporting business development initiatives
About You
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ – 3 PQE)
- Strong grounding in employment law through a seat or post-qualified experience
- Interest in both contentious and advisory work
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
