Rotherham | Full-Time, Permanent | £35,000–£45,000 DOE
An established and well-respected law firm in Rotherham is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its supportive and friendly Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident fee earner who is comfortable managing their own caseload and wants to join a firm that values quality over volume, excellent client service and professional development .
The Role
You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to completion, with responsibility for:
- Residential freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages and transfers of equity
- New build transactions
- Reviewing titles and legal documentation
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Preparing contracts and transfer documentation
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors
- Managing exchange and completion
- Ensuring files meet relevant lender, regulatory and internal requirements
- Keeping clients updated and providing a consistently high level of service
About You
We're looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer who can work confidently with minimal supervision.
You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload
- Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures
- Experience handling both freehold and leasehold transactions
- Experience with sales, purchases and remortgages
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- A proactive approach to progressing matters through to completion
