Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 with a 1 in 4 on-call rota covering evening and weekend callouts

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Drainage Engineer to join a growing team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is eager to work hard, develop their skillset, and grow with the business. The successful candidate will have previous drainage industry experience and be confident carrying out high-pressure jetting, CCTV surveying, and supporting works alongside vacuum tankers. Please note, candidates without relevant drainage experience will not be considered. Due to the nature of the work, jobs may occasionally overrun, and candidates should be flexible to support early starts and later finishes where required. Overtime rates apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out drainage inspections and maintenance work across residential and commercial sites.
  • Perform high-pressure water jetting and drain clearance works.
  • Conduct CCTV drainage surveys and identify drainage issues.
  • Support operations alongside vacuum tanker teams where required.
  • Respond to emergency and out-of-hours callouts in line with the rota.
  • Complete drainage investigations and produce accurate job reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and company standards.
  • Maintain company equipment and work professionally on customer sites.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant drainage or jetting experience.
  • Previous experience in high-pressure jetting (required).
  • Experience carrying out CCTV drainage surveying.
  • Experience working alongside vacuum tankers.
  • Must live within a 20-mile radius of PE13.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (required).
  • Ability to commute to the depot daily.
  • Flexible approach to overtime, early starts, later finishes, and participation in the 1 in 4 on-call rota.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Confined Space certification.
  • CSCS card.
  • Additional drainage qualifications.
