The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on a wide range of vehicles. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all vehicles are repaired efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on customer vehicles.
  • Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
  • Complete mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and identify any additional work required.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Deliver high levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or Automotive Technician.
  • Relevant automotive qualifications (Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • MOT Tester licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
